  • How often should I bring my pet in for a check-up?

    We recommend bringing your pet in for a yearly check-up. This gives pet owners a chance to discuss any new health concerns with the vet and allow the vet to point out and treat any concerns.

  • What vaccinations are available for dogs?

  • How often should my pets be vaccinated each year?

    We recommend that your dogs and cats be vaccinated once each year with a 4-way or 5-way vaccine. This way, you will gain peace of mind knowing that your pets are adequately protected against most common canine and feline pathogens. Additionally, we suggest that both dogs and cats be vaccinated against rabies starting at 12 weeks of age.

  • What are common signs of dental disease in animals?

  • What are the benefits of neutering?

    Our animal hospital wants your pets to live a long and happy life. Neutering services are beneficial as they help:

    • Reduce or eliminate risk of territorial spraying and marking 
    • Reduce desire to roam
    • Eliminate risk of testicular cancer
    • Decrease chances for prostate disease
    • Reduce number of unwanted kittens or puppies 
    • Decrease aggressive behavior 
    • Increase life span

  • What are the benefits of spaying?

    Our animal hospital wants your pets to live a long and happy life. Spaying services are beneficial as they help:

    • Generate no heat cycles 
    • Reduce desire to roam 
    • Reduce or eliminate risk of ovarian and/or uterine cancer
    • Reduce number of unwanted kittens or puppies 
    • Increase life span

  • What should I do if my pet is scooting its rear on the ground?

    This type of behavior can be indicative of a number of different issues. It may be time to express your pet's anal gland, or your pet may be suffering from a more serious issue. Be sure to make an appointment at our convenient veterinarian clinic if your pet has started to scoot.

  • Should I worry about heartworm prevention and flea prevention?

    It's imperative that you take the proper steps to protect your pets against heartworms and fleas! Mosquitos and fleas can wreak havoc on your pets' overall level of wellness, so we recommend taking precautionary measures on an annual basis.

  • When should I start administering heartworm medication to my pet?

    We recommend that you provide your puppy or kitten with heartworm medication by the time they're 8 weeks of age. Then, you should maintain a treatment schedule on an annual basis.

    Our animal hospital is open:

    Monday - Thursday: 8:00am - 5:00pm

    Friday: 8:00am - 10:00pm

    Saturday: 8:00am - 12:00pm & 3:00pm - 10:00pm

    Sunday: CLOSED

  • Do you offer emergency services?

    Yes! Our emergency veterinarian is always ready to promptly go into surgery in an effort to save your pet’s life. If your pet is having any of these symptoms or has suffered an injury, do not hesitate to take them to our veterinary clinic for immediate, professional care that you can rely on.
